Rarely-seen magic 🐰 is photographed in China
This bunny sighting from 2 years ago is news to us. China's endangered 'magic rabbit' was photographed for the first time in 20 years, says Popular Science.
Pikas, or small mountain rabbits, were discovered in the 1980s and it's suspected their population has been in decline since then.
They are known to be endangered by global warming since their mountain habitat is shrinking as glaciers melt. They have to keep going to higher elevations to be safe. They also cannot vocalize so when predators are near they can't alert other pikas.
