39th film festival shows off Denver's glam side

The 39th annual Denver Film Festival got off to a vibrant start Wednesday night in downtown Denver with star Emma Stone dazzling paparazzi and film fans.

Film buffs will take advantage of 250 films during the 11 day run of the festival and enjoy numerous showcases, parties and the famous film festival after parties aka The Late Night Lounge.... 

Founded in 1978, the festival includes screenings, award ceremonies and social events. For information, including how to get tickets, go to denverfilmfestival.denverfilm.org

 This year the international spotlight is on Spain, it's culture and films. 

Opening night movie premiere is La La Land with Emma Stone who also walked the DFF red carpet. 

Apparently, Emma's Chanel dress was a big hit with Denver fashion followers.

And last but not least - Popsicle, the Colorado art and culture mascot gives a paws up.
