Current obsession: white???? even if it's not a true color

Did you know that white was one of the first colors used in art? The Lascaux Cave in France is rich in depictions of horses, reindeer and other animals drawn by paleolithic artists between 18,000 and 17,000 years ago were using calcite commonly known as chalk. They used the white rocks to draw, shade and highlight! Take a look at them here.

These wild horses couldn't have stood out without chalk.

White isn't really technically a color but there are so many ways to use it aesthetically unlike the paleolithic women artists who didn't have access to the dizzying amount of media and materials available to us now.

One my fave sculptures is The Kiss by Rodin is of course in white marble, here posted via IG.

In clothing, I adore soft cashmere winter whites, feminine spring wear with touches of white, summer white dresses and comfy kaftans  I don't care whether it's post Labor Day, I don my white jeans until the the nights grow longer.

These winter whites from Akris have become part of my spring and the summer staples especially the handy tote adorned with tassels. The fabric clutch goes well with my nautical inspired summer dress I plan to wear to a  regatta.

I also have a white vegan leather couch and I totally obsesses over keeping it spotless.

I don't think that anyone can argue that a white Lambo will never goes out of style. Or in this case, a Bugatti.

White linen forever under the hot sun even if it's a pain to keep clean and unwrinkled. Tres chic.

Dreaming of crisp white linen suit like this one by Max Mara above with a pair of my white  Adidas Stan Smiths.

A belted tuxedo maxi dress is perf for a hot summer date. Also from Max Mara's SS17 collection.

I would defo wear this white porcelain and bling with that dress, oh yes!

In fact that goes well too with this bralette with eyelets and the skirt on and off the water. Swim season is coming! Not really ready yet but already obsessed with this ensemble. It reminds me of the skirt I wore one summer in St. Tropez.

A white cotton blouse with bell-shaped sleeves paired with jean shorts is perf for the tropics, I totally agree MO.

When to comes to flora, I'll take white roses please with champagne of course. Thank you.
