This Rooftop Bar Has History
The Top of the Standard, formerly known as The Boom Boom Room, is filled with history. This spot used to be one of NYC's most exclusive, sophisticated nightclubs. If you weren't on the guest list, you weren't getting in.
Although the name has changed, The Top of The Standard is still an exclusive spot. Seriously, the Met Gala afterparty was hosted there.
If you can get in, enjoy amazing views of the city from the rooftop. The best time to visit is for Sunset Service, where guests can drink tea and cocktails while watching the sun set. The menu ranges from vegetable chips to Korean fried chicken and caviar. Fancy, fancy. If you're looking for a way to charm a date, this is a surefire hit. Just make sure to make a reservation.
