We all know him, he is the father of physics. Albert Einstein, a man whose name is practically synonymous with genius, is one of history's greatest thinkers. As a physicist and mathematician, Einstein wasn't an inventor in the vein of Thomas Edison or Alexander Graham Bell, but his theories of relativity led to new ways of looking at time, space, matter, energy and gravity. His work led to important advances such as the control of atomic energy, space exploration, and applications of light. I made a list of points about what makes Einstein the greatest physicists of all time.
At the age of 12, Einstein taught himself algebra and Euclidean geometry.
He mastered the entire integral and differential calculus before the age of 15. He imagined riding a light beam at the age of 16 which set the inspiration for Theory of Relativity.
His Theory of Relativity did not receive a warm response when it was published. Einstein finally rose to fame when scientists started discovering phenomena in the Universe that were predicted by Einstein Theory Long ago.
Apart from theory of relativity, he also worked on a photoelectric effect, Brownian motion, Bose-Einstein condensate, etc that have wide applications today.
He spent his final years to develop a unified theory that could've described everything in the Universe.
Predictions by Einstein's Theory are being observed and confirmed by Astronomers even today. Einstein was well ahead of his time!
