Künefe' is a Turkish classic dessert with layers of crisp and crunchy, golden 'kadayıf' filled with cheese (similar to mozzarella) Baked until golden and crispy, then steeped in sweet syrup and topped with coarsely chopped pistachio. My besties and I split this one when we were in Istanbul in September. Yum!

Another one we split four ways, this one has clotted cream on top from Venge, my fave kebap restaurant in Levent.
