It's a sad tale of a fake marriage and fake book tour.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are reportedly no longer speaking to each other following an argument over Hillary's book.

According to a report by Page Six published on Monday, the former president actually threw a manuscript of Hillary's What Happened? in the trash after she refused to take any of his notes on the work.

Bill reportedly begged Hillary not to publish the book as it is and is "heartsick" at witnessing her self-pity-fueled book tour, according to the report.

"He told her the book made her look bewildered, angry and confused, and that those were poor qualities in a person who aspired to be a world leader," a source told Page Six. "He hated the title because calling it 'What Happened' would only make people say, 'You Lost'," the source said.

"He urged her to postpone the pub date and rewrite the book, but she yelled at him and said: 'The book is finished and that’s how it’s going to be published'," he continued.

President Donald Trump waded even further into the NFL protest controversy on Tuesday morning with a short salvo of tweets aimed at the NFL and ESPN's Jemele Hill.

Hill was suspended on Monday after criticizing Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for telling his team to stand during the national anthem.

"With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have 'tanked,' in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry!" the President tweeted.

He also called for ending the NFL's tax breaks. "Why is the NFL getting massive tax breaks while at the same time disrespecting our Anthem, Flag and Country? Change tax law!" he tweeted.

Trump had tweeted in support of Jones on Sunday, so it's hardly surprising he decided to wade in on Hill's firing. "A big salute to Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, who will BENCH players who disrespect our Flag."Stand for Anthem or sit for game!" Trump tweeted yesterday.
