Scientists have begun to understand the benefits of different types of fasting in animals and – to a lesser extent – humans.

One kind of fasting is intermittent fasting, or IF. It has shown positive outcomes in humans at least going by anecdotal evidence, according to a CNN feature.

Over the past year and a half, Keith Taylor, along with his wife, has adopted IF.
