If Felix Baumgartner's jump in 2012 got that much media coverage, partly due to Red Bull's stratospheric budget as main sponsor, very few know that his record was actually crushed in 2014 by Alan Eustace, a 57 year old high ranking executive from Google! He jumped in October of 2014 from an altitude of 41 km for a free fall that lasted approximately 15 minutes. However, Felix Baumgartner keeps the record for highest speed in a free fall at 1357,6 km/h versus 1322 km/h for Alan Eustace.
