Holding and Releasing Trauma

Holding and Releasing Trauma

Consider the sea anemone, which to my eye looks very much like a Sexy Chakra. It is a predator. It attracts small fish and creatures, grabs them, and digests them.

This chakra is often where we hold traumatic experiences and unhealed wounds. Stuck, they can inhibit or even shut down our creativity and our sexuality.

What would it be like if processing trauma were as organic and natural as a sea anemone slowly devouring a tiny fish?

Write for 5 minutes: What feeds your anemone? What is it craving? What does it need to finish digesting?

Be the first to like it!
