I recently let this interesting and historic bottle of 1942 Park & Tilford rye whiskey go.  It was distilled in 1937.  Park & Tilford was a 19th century Manhattan store that specialized in perfumes, soaps, wines, and liquors.  It was purchased by National Distiller's and became a brand for them in the 1950s.
