I've never had to #shuck#oysters before, as they always came shucked at restaurants. At #TomalesBay, however, they come fresh out of the water and into your hands, so I had to learn the art of shucking.
Shucking really isn't that hard, once you get the hang of it. Plus the rewards are more than worth it! Look at the size of that oyster! They come cheap at $50 for a bag of 50 small oysters (don't be fooled, small still means they're bigger than the oysters usually served at restaurants!) and $60 for 50 medium ones.
