Fancy yourself the next Edgar Allan Poe or Tim Burton? The Canadian city of Edmonton has room for you on their cemetery grounds. Yup. A cozy little art studio overlooking the graves of Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Will the graves make a comeback as the hotbed of arts and culture?

The artist will also receive a cool CAD$25,000 stipend for the 6-month appointment, as well as CAD$3,000 for supplies. (No word on whether or not they will ask for the money back if you bail early, though).

Because sometimes you just need the right pre-20th century hauntings to resurrect (ha-ha) your creative juices, right? Gotta tip a hat to Edmonton's dedication to the arts, even in the unlikeliest of places.

This might mark a new era for the cemetery, previously home ground to tweakers, restless tweens, and, well, the undead. Let's hope they give their blessings to this endeavor.
