Today kicks off a major celebration in honor of spring. Nowruz celebrates nature's rebirth & lasts for two weeks. Happy New Year!

It's not a one-day affair either.  Persians celebrate with rituals that revolve around remembering loved ones, preparing special foods and visiting with neighbors.  

There are bonfires to jump over, music and on the 13th day of New Year, everybody goes out on a picnic.
