Collection Talking The NBA

A first in pro sports-- the NBA took part in the NYCPride Parade today, commissioner Adam Silver taking part in the walk himself.

Silver has been a longtime advocate for equality and inclusiveness in basketball, having banned David Sterling for life after his racist comments and now considering pulling the AllStar game out of NorthCarolina following their recently passed laws that discriminate against the LGBTQ community.

Even OKC star KD Kevin Durant was hyped on the Pride event

The WNBAPride and NBAPride floats make their way through the parade

Every team now has a custom Pride logo shirt--All proceeds will be donated to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) and are sold exclusively through Teespring
