Gateway Orientation

So we meet again, NYC. I narrowly missed my flight this morning but I am glad to say that I made it through my first leg of the trip. Next there will be a two day gateway orientation for all the exchange students and we're off to Russia! Update: Gateway orientation in progress. It's been amazing so far; the 15 other students I am traveling to Russia with are phenomenal. We will all struggle with the language together and it'll be great. Today we went over basic rules (no drugs! No vodka! God forbid you drink vodka!). Also Keith Hughes (?) from the State Department came in and intimidated us all about how we are all now US diplomats and should help protect our country. Here's a hasty picture of my roommate and me before bed because I realized we were having too much fun to take pictures. Спокойной ночи!
