? Kedi is a love letter to the street cats of Istanbul

Some might say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, but really, it's cats. Just look at those intelligent eyes!

A new documentary called Kedi follows seven of Istanbul's infamous street felines around the city. You get to know them through beautiful cinematography, following their everyday lives as they wend through the daily comings and goings of the humans who stop to pay attention to them.

The film is enjoying a limited run in screenings across the US, Canada, and at select film festivals around the world after a successful and necessary premiere in Istanbul. US and Canadian showings kick off on February 17, 2017.
