Royal Caribbean Reveals Largest Cruise Ship Ever


Royal Caribbean has announced that its newest ship, Symphony of the Seas, will be the largest ship on record.

The ship boasts 16 decks and measures 215 feet wide and 1188 feet long. It also weighs a whopping 230,000 gross tons. The “Symphony” has 2775 guest rooms, which equals room for 5494 guests at double occupancy.

Royal Caribbean has shared some the ship’s greatest highlights.Ever had a robot serve you a martini? Well, on the Symphony of the Seas, you can get that. These robots will host their guests at the Bionic Bar. Robots not your thing? The ship will also have the Rising Tide Bar, which will take guests from one deck to another.

The Symphony of the Seas will begin its excursions in April of next year, and it will dock at the Port of Miami’s Terminal A in October.
