#9) 'Light Upon the Lake' by Whitney
While listening to
Light Upon the Lake
, I can't help but think that there's a lingering sound left over from 70s soft rock. Don't let that scare you (because I know 70s soft rock sucks), but it has that vibe. Laissez-faire guitar licks combined with soft horns and humming strings makes this duo from Chicago's debut album a solid, repeat listen.
