Michigan creams Rutgers by twenty more points than OSU, now get your steak on!
It's October, a little over a month before The Game, let the trash talking commence!
Let's just make things clear. So far, both teams are proving themselves to be massive powerhouses. Things ain't gonna be pretty come November. After week 6, OSU is ranked no. 2, Michigan no. 6.
On October 1, 2016, the Buckeyes creamed Rutgers 58-0. It was a massacre. The following week, Rutgers faced OSU's top rival, Michigan.
One has to wonder had Rutgers faced the Wolverines later in the season, would the whipping have been less painful?
Michigan, in my opinion, gave the Buckeyes the finger by making sure to cream Rutgers by 20 more points than OSU beat them by. Yes folks, Michigan beat Rutgers 78-0 producing one of the largest point spreads in college football this century. Coincidence? I think not. Knowing A2 (Ann Arbor) and Columbus as I do, this was a deliberate slam to OSU. Taunting, The Game style, poor Rutgers just got in the way. I mean, with that point spread, was there even a team on the field?
So, in case you missed it, Ruth's Chris steakhouse in A2 wasn't quite in the know about The Game's rivalry kickoff. Their brilliant discount plan is great for us in A2, we just hope the only recovering being done this season will be for the community to help Ruth's Chris from going bankrupt when rushed by hungry college students eager for the 78% discount.
At some point, even the band figured out they were being played.
