Press Release

GREAT WEEK END IN SARNO FOR LUCA BOSCO IN THE ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP.

A very high level performance of the Baby Race’s driver in the second heat of the italian series.

After the good results achieved in the WSK Super Master Series Finale in Adria, Luca Bosco was really focused to catch another good result in the second event of the Italian karting Championship organized this week end in Sarno. Since the very beginning of the week end the italian driver shown a very quick pace setting twice the best lap of the session with more then 70 drivers in the entry list. During the qualifying Bosco setted the second best lap of his session which became the 12th overall after the whole qualifying sessions. At the start of Race, 1 Bosco started perfectly, gaining a lot of positions in the first laps but having some contacts with other drivers which putted him back in the field later. At the end of the race Bosco ended in the 14th position overall. In the Final the italian driver started from the 7th row in the grid keeping the position for many laps but being penalized at the end of the race with 10 seconds due to a contact with another driver. The final position at the end of the Final has been 29th. The final result of the week end was absolutely worse then the real potential of the driver has shown during the whole week end, but the performances of Sarno have confirmed the italian driver as one of the top driver of the 60 Mini category.

Luca Bosco: “It’s a shame that during the Pre Final and the Final i was involved in some contacts with some other drivers. We worked a lot during the whole week end with the team and we have shown to be very competitive in every session we drove. I was supposing to fight for the podium till the end but that’s racing and next time will be better. A big thanks to my team for the amazing effort done for me this week end.”

The next race of Luca Bosco will be, once more, in Adria during the WSK Night Edition, scheduled the 11-12th June.
