Pilot shocks Instagram followers with dangerous mid-air cockpit selfies

A pilot recently shocked his 76,000 Instagram followers by taking a daredevil selfie of him leaning out of the cockpit window while flying over Dubai.

“Pilotganso,” who has been known to share pictures that have wowed the internet in the past, took this astonishing shot while cruising over the Palm Islands, and posted it with the caption: “Its already my second hometown #dubai Selfie.”

As of now the Brazilian pilot’s post has received almost 15,000 likes, but eagle-eyed aviation followers are 100 percent convinced Pilotganso's mid-air photos are fugazis!

Earlier the pilot has posted several incredible photos on his Instagram but has also issued a disclaimer. For one similar picture taken over some islands, he added a caption, “I have to let you know that photo is fake guys, just in case." Some have been doctored while others were taken using a selfie stick, where optical illusions made them look more sensational than they really were.

But this picture created such a buzz because it looked very real. Some users got agitated at his lack of responsibility and posted, “Why you acted so dangerous that you might risk of falling and endangered all the passengers?! Duh WTH is wrong with you."

The buzz did not last long because an anonymous user commented in an aviation forum, “Ship ascending northbound from nowhere. Direction of shade not matching those of houses. Winglet color (inward) not matching Fly Dubai scheme.” More and more users started noticing it was fake.

Nevertheless, we have to give credit to the pilot for his Photoshop skills and generating online excitement with his photographic creativity. Clearly, he's done this before!
