Mexican fans told to stop offensive chants
In the wake of the horrible killing of 49 people at a gay night club in Orlando CONCACAF - the governing body of soccer for North and Central America and the Caribbean - and the South American federation on Thursday warned fans of Mexico to stop homophobic chanting during matches.
This isn't the first time Mexican fans have been warned. Check out this video from the World Cup in 2014, when FIFA filed a complaint.
"This behavior does not reflect the true spirit of football and must be stopped," Copa America officials said in the statement.
Let's hope they stop it. Sadly, the fans behavior takes away from the great performance of a talented team.
