NASA releases new, amazing photos of Saturn you have to see
These may be the last photos the Cassini probe sends back to earth before it crashes into Saturn 🔭
NASA’s Cassini probe spent most of 2015 orbiting Saturn’s equator, a path that kept the probe in perfect view of the planet’s ring plane and moons. Now that two years have passed, Cassini has been snapping photos of Saturn at different angles, and NASA has just released them.
Most of the new images show Saturn from approximately 1.7 million miles away from Cassini’s wide-angle lens, roughly 16 degrees above the ring plane.
