This series of watercolor drawings by Ukraine-based illustrator of Russian descent Soosh beautifully express the tenderness between a father and his daughter. In an interview with Today Parents, Soosh said: "Some time ago I drew a series of a big forest spirit (which people call a bear), and I did enjoy greatly the feeling it gave me, the feeling of support and reliability which I lacked in my real life. I did not have any specific plan to do father daughter drawings . I keep imagining these scenes and drawing them until inspiration leaves me." The series of illustration went viral with its depiction of fatherly love--how a father's protection extends into helping his daughter get ready for her ballet lessons, with cooking, and other daily activities : A photo of Soosh and her son Frol, taken from Soosh's website.
