While there are pros and cons on both sides of the spectrum, dating younger wins by a landslide.

Even though older men may be wiser with more financial security, their energy and spontaneity fades much quicker. And you need someone that can keep up with you, and teach you some fresh takes along the way.

You deserve to be with someone who admires your independence, not feel intimidated by it. My vote goes to dating the millennials and yours should too.

First off, his vibrancy is exhilarating. The younger guy is up for an adventure, day or night, rain or shine. He feeds on learning new things, and loves sharing them with you. Whether taking up a karate class, waking you up to watch the sunrise or booking a last minute trip to Australia, this guy keeps the relationship alive. Of course, Netflix and snacks is also a hobby of his, but whose isn’t?

A younger man is always smiling or laughing. Whether at work, at happy hour or hanging out with you watching a movie, he is 100 percent enjoying life. This is because he thrives on life experiences instead of being stressed about them. He’s proud of the man he is and he owns it everywhere he goes, even though he may spend three hours at the gym. Because, hey, at least he’s taking his health seriously.

Most importantly, though, he is a surprisingly good communicator. You may think that because he’s a part of the YouTube-obsessed crowd that he’s incapable of having an adult conversation, and an effective one at that. But studies show that the opposite is true.

So, if you’re into robbing the cradle — just know, you’re very smart for doing so.
