Surrogacy is a magical method which creates unique friendship and families while taking technology as a part of its process.
I can proudly say that I’m a surrogate. The feeling of giving life to someone else’s family is incredible. I have listed some pros and cons for all the surrogates out there:
- It’s a fulfilling experience
It’s a fulfilling experience for the surrogates as well as the parents. The family gets complete from the news of a new family member. It’s a proud feeling for the surrogate to provide a family with a baby.
- The surrogates relive the feeling of motherhood
All the surrogates are already mothers, so when you become a surrogate, you relive the feeling of being pregnant again.
- It provides a compensation which is completely fair.
The carriers of gestation- the surrogates are compensated for the time and risk they give for someone else.
- It’s a physically demanding process
No matter what the technique is but surrogacy is similar to a traditional pregnancy. So it’s a challenging process of 9 months but at the end when you get the feeling of giving a new member to a family, you forget all the temporary inconveniences which came your way.
- Surrogacy makes you emotionally weak
Carrying a baby in your womb for 9 months and then giving it to someone else is an emotionally challenging task. At times, you may also feel like not giving the baby but you can always seek help in such situations.
