The entire nomination process to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court has become a national disgrace, but it is all happening according to plan—a plan formed by the Democrats in a desperate attempt to usurp our democracy.

This plan to ensure that all of Trump’s Supreme Court nominees were stymied until 2020 was given away by former Hillary Clinton operative Brian Fallon who stated in The New York Times: “Saving the Supreme Court from Trump’s clutches has always involved a very complicated two-step: First, block Kavanagh, then fight like hell to win back the Senate. If Kavanagh drops out, we’re halfway there and if Democrats can win back the Senate, we’d have a path blocking Trump from picking any of the archconservatives on his short list.”

The importance of engagement and negotiation seems all but forgotten in the rush to condemn Donald Trump over his attempts to repair the United States’ relationship with Russia. Instead of praising Trump for his efforts to strengthen the relationship, the traditional media attacks everything President Trump does to deflect attention away from the congressional investigations into widespread corruption and collusion by President Barack Obama, the Hillary Clinton campaign and the top-levels of the US intelligence agencies to prevent the election of and then subvert the Presidency of Donald Trump.

In 1949, George Orwell wrote the book 1984 in which he accurately predicted the future with Francis Bacon’s phrase “knowledge is power.” This is true today more than ever.

Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Twitter actively control information flow through their oligopoly of all readily available content on the internet. Amazon has even moved beyond the internet, not that it needed to because print is dead, and now owns The Washington Post. Additionally, Amazon seeks to control our drug and food supply. This unregulated oligopoly, which was initially narrowly focused on frivolous social media and consumer products, has grown rapidly and amassed the ability to decide what is “fake news” and what isn’t. And Facebook and Google have both been caught using algorithms to make those decisions via the manipulation of search results.

During the past election cycle, our political elites, oligarchs, and the DNC decided another eight years of neoliberalism was just the medicine America needed, and they did everything in their power to ensure that it happened, regardless of what America really wanted. Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the elite oligarchs relied exclusively on the propaganda megaphones of the New York Times and the Huffington Post to broadcast her message. In fact, reporting on the 2016 election by the New York Times was so biased and deceitful that its owner issued subscribers a written apology promising change and an investigation.
